This was the worst experience I have ever had with an optometrist. The staff and doctor were friendly and helpul - right until the sale was made. Then they became unfriendly and condescending. My first clue should have been the feeling like I had just gone through a sales pitch at a car dealership - or perhaps pushed through an assembly line. I did not get the simple solution I came in for - instead I was sold something new and high-tech. When I finally got the glasses, they were just awful. Rectangles became odd-sized trapezoids. To read a line across a computer screen, or to read up and down required moving my head from side to side and up and down constantly. My head had to be at a fixed distance - an exact fixed distance - from the computer screen, or everything was blurry. I would become nauseaus to the point of throwing up with just a few hours of use. So how about some sort of satisfaction guarantee? Forget about it. You cannot expect even one penny of a refund no matter how unsatisfied and how bad the product. After this bad experience I went to one of the older, more experienced optometrists in Edmond. The experience was completely different, totally professional, and most importantly I got a pair of glasses in less than a week that worked perfectly. And the cost was less than a third of what I paid at Optique.

I'm new to the area and was looking for a new optometrist for my family. Dr. Grindstaff was great at explaining everything in a way we could understand. The staff was really friendly and helpful with our insurance benefits too.
