First - it's not exactly what one should call a "resort". It's actually more like a snack shack on the shores of a pretty murky man made lake. Sure the deep fried college bar food tastes great, and yep, maybe the scenery makes the beer taste better than up town, but really, there's nothing here ya can't make at home (and better) and their location is terrible in regards to parking and safety (almost been hit twice pulling out into the sometimes busy 6N from their driveway). I know a lot of people go there (mostly cuz they know the owner - who by all accounts is loaded) and seem just fine with the place, but I've seen enough of the lake to last me a lifetime and I don't feel the need to pay for that atmosphere (which is what you really are doing at this place) while eating wings.
