Great Service Department!

I purchased a vehicle from sales but I take it to their service department because they threw in 'Free Oil Changes For Life' when I made the purchase.

The last time they serviced the vehicle for the oil service, I paid for a tire rotation.

A day before I was to leave for a vacation I went to check my tire pressures(a few weeks from the service and the first time I checked the pressures since the service) and I couldn't remove the cap from my valve stem - It was so tight I had to remove the cap with a wrench - Never had this happen - the stem broke and I had to install the spare!

For those who don't know, valve stems on most newer Toyota's are comprised of aluminum and are integrated into the Tire Pressure Monitor Wheel Sensor. You can't just replace the stem but the whole sensor assembly.



My next step involved notifying the Service Department of the situation for an appointment after I arrived home.

I discussed the ordeal with the Service Assistant who then directed me to the Service Manager for further discussion.

The Service Manager replaced the wheel sensor free of charge!

Tom Wunderer took responsibility for this situation and offered this as a good will gesture. Tom was very understanding with my needs and is a very good man for it.

The other folks from Service are just as caring and considerate.



I gave five stars to Tom and the Service Department for going above and beyond what I consider top notch customer assistance and for not only helping me with any vehicle troubles but also for treating me with respect and offering old fashioned courtesy as well.

They are polite and patient from the time you make an appointment to the time of pick-up!
