10/06/16 Eden Prairie Plato's Closet I brought in approximately 8 men's polo shirts. 7 were Hollister Co and 1 was Abercrombie and Fitch. All of these garments are solid colors, worn twice, three times at the most, and are right in line with other merchandise sold in this store. Unfortunately, after waiting over thirty minutes for my items to be reviewed, I was never called upon to be informed that my garments had been sort through and finished. After perusing the mens area of the store with a fine eye, I realized thirty minutes had passed, so I asked politely to one of the employees behind the counter if I could sit on the window ledge while the garments were being sort through. The employee (exacerbated) says to me oh I think your items are already done. I reply back, okay and proceed to the counter and she says unfortunately we will not accept your items because of the wear and not consistent with current styles. From that exact moment, I removed the polos from the bin and said Please show me where there is wear on these items. From there, the employee that was helping me called upon (Taylor) the employee that reviewed the garments. Taylor then lifts one polo shirt from the pile and this one garment did have MINOR wear on the lower portion of the polo, otherwise she claimed that the remainder of the logos on the polos are older than one year (which is actually incorrect information) and that the style is inconsistent with what they currently carry. Now during my time in the store, I can 100% matter of fact say that Taylor and the entire staff at the Eden Prairie location is out of sorts. There were I kid you not, tons and tons of discolored and faded garments throughout. Does Hurley and Billabong really even manufacture clothing now a days anyways? I come in with a smile, polite saying yes ma'am, please and thank you and I am treated poorly and disrespectfully by your staff? Not on my watch.
