Orkin scheduled an initial inspection at my home during an 8am-12pm timeframe. A 12:30, we called to make sure we had the appointment right, and their call center (in a different state) assured us that we were on the schedule and that someone would arrive in 30-40 minutes. After waiting a total of 6 hours, we finally gave up and left. There was no note when we returned and no one called. Two days later they showed up, without notice, ready to start. The exterminator was confused by the work order and couldn't explain why there was no contact regarding the missed appointment or the time they actually arrived.Orkin is an expensive service. One would assume that considering the price and reputation that you could at least expect some decent customer service. Don't waste your time, but if you do, make sure you don't give them your payment information over the phone when you set up the appointment because you could be paying a lot for absolutely nothing.
