Instead of sticking to the simple repair I requested, the technician inspected the entire house and gave me a choice between a $5000 update to our electrical system or a $1000 upgrade. There were no safety issues warranting this. He was quite disappointed when I insisted on just the simple repair, which I believe was overpriced at $400.
