Good place

Yeah it's dirty, yeah it's unorganized, but that's where the best deals are. I found in a box a 1/64 NASCAR car for $2! That's an awesome deal. I was very satisfied. Now I will say the upstairs R/C track is a very challenging course full of ridiculous jumps for begginers. I do not suggest this track for anyone unprofessional. Prices are reasonable.

I went in to purchase a micro ...

I went in to purchase a micro RC car and refit it with larger tires. I had called and spoken to someone who said I could do this and they'd help me find the parts there.

I arrived on a Monday and there were zero customers and 5 sales people doing nothing. I asked about the micro RC cars and the refit and was told to go to the train department.

Back in trains there were three more guys standing around doing nothing. I asked my questions and was told to go back to the front to the cars desk. Back in the front a sales person ignored me and acted busy doing nothing, finally I called out my question. The sales person seemed extremely uncomfortable...I am beginning to think this all happened because I am a woman and clearly they are very uncomforatble with women in this store.

The sales person grudgingly showed me a small pile of micro cars in plastic boxes. I said, "OK, now, I want to refit the cars with wheels to fit in this track (wooden train track which I had with me), can you tell me what parts to use for that?" And the salesperson said in an astonishingly rude voice, "You just have to know how to do that, we can't tell you!"

So I asked the salesperson where the other wheels to these cars were, and the salesperson insisted they didn't have any. I pointed to a large group of small wheels in glass tubes RIGHT IN THE DISPLAY and said, "What are these for?" The sales person looked shocked but didn't say anything. I asked it they might be for these cars, and the salesperson flatly said "No."

Since the person would not communicate, I was frustrated and left, but when I got outside decided to give this another try because maybe this person was just an idiot and also I had driven a long way to get there and they seemed to have what I wanted, if someone would just talk to me about it a little bit.

So I went back in and spoke to someone who said he was management, who also had a hard time looking at me. I explained again that I had been told on the phone that they had RC matchbox sized cars and could show me how to change the wheels. I was prepared to spend a significant amount of money to find RC cars that would fit in wooden train track. I took out the track and showed the guy and he said,"We only have big cars." I said, "I just saw a pile of small cars in the back,." I suggested,"Maybe one of them would fit my track?"

So the guy went back with me, and said he didn't have any cars that were that small. I pointed to one that was RC and matchbox sized and said, "Well you have that." He said "I don't know if this would work." I asked if he could open the box and we could see. So he did and the car was just millimeters from fitting. Clearly different wheels would work.

This story goes on with me trying to get the salesperson to help me find the wheels and the parts to fix this and him just not interested in helping me buy anything. There were a dozen cars there each different sizes and one of them may have even worked. This guy could have made the best sale of the afternoon, but was too busy just trying to figure out who told me the cars were there and I might be able to change the wheels, because he said he wanted to yell at that guy, rather than helping me figure out how to get the parts I needed. I finally left with nothing.

--- Moral of the story -- if you are a woman, don't go there. It's like trying to talk to the guys on Big Bang theory. And if you do not know EXACTLY what you want -- by the number, you can't get any help there, because the sales people are too busy avoiding the customers to help.
