We went there to look for a mother of the bride dress. We had found three we liked online and wanted to see and try them on in person. We should have left as soon as we walked in-cluttered, dirty, and hot. The dressing area was very tiny. The saleswoman didn't t know where any of the dresses were. She had to call the owners. She was only able to find one of them. She was helpful getting my mom into the dress and helping her up to the mirror which had a huge step and a very shaky step stool. My mom looked gorgeous and we were seriouly considering purchasing it that day. While we there another woman came in to look around and the sales woman said she would be with her shortly. She continued to help my mom. But then the two owners burst in through some magic curtain in the back. They saw the other customer, who they apparently knew, and blew right past my mom, almost knocking her over. They were rude and obnoxious. I wouldn't give them 3 cents let alone the $300 they wanted for the dress.

Do not recommend this place at all. They have gorgeous dresses, yes, but their customer service is beyond terrible. The store is run by a mother/daughter duo - both extremely rude, and unwilling to assist their patrons with any problem that may arise, including something they caused. Is it unreasonable to ask them to reorder two new bridesmaid dresses when she ordered them in the wrong size? Why do my girls have to pay $200 each, the cost of the dress, in alterations - all because of the shop owner's mistake? The dresses were way to large, and she must have gone off the wrong measurement chart as Gina #2 measured her in the store. Instead of doing anything about it, she proceeded to be extremely nasty once the dress was tried on to show her just how off the sizing was. Many other bridal shops in the Lehigh Valley that provide wonderful customer service. Go check out one of them and avoid Footlights as Gina #1 and Gina #2 will only give you a migraine.

First I must say, surprised to see the prior negative comment, considering the women were very helpful and the hours for the store are on the door, well her loss. We tried a variety of dresses and even ones we did not think to look at. They have a huge variety of dresses. Best of all they will not sell the same dress to your school, even if it is a different color. We got a fantastic dress for much less than anywhere else we looked, and will continue to come here for all our future events. Sad that the person who left the negative comments really just showed her ignorance and lack of class by leaving a comment such as that.

I was just going to write what a wonderful prom shopping experience I had at footlights today. Not only will they not sell the same dress to the same school even in a different color..but. I bought a dress that was way less than I expected to pay. I'm sorry that that lady.. and her daughter..didn't get the opportunity to go into the store because they simply didn't read the hours posted on the door.. or the hours posted on the website...or the hours recorded on the stores answering machine.. I'm shocked that because she neglected to read the sign on the door.. listen to the message on the answering machine.. and see the hours on the website.. she decided to slander their good name.. for no good reason. Her and her daughter truly missed a great shopping experience..by the way they have been business over 20 years with the same business hours.

Yes open for business with lights on, but no owner!! With record breaking arctic winds and temps the owner had the door locked and you had to "knock." Yeah my daughter and I knocked for 10mins, wasted gas getting there, and froze in the meantime. I can understand why they are a "one of a kind" because it's a feat to actually get into the store! They are basically opened at their own whim, but advertise all week. Even the employees at the surrounding stores said that the owner is crude and even other shoppers said "good luck" and that they are "nasty, crude people." Not to mention no cell phones or pics. Don't waste your time or money, go somewhere where owners actually want business; I'm surprised that they can actually afford their rent!

This is not your ordinary dress shop. It's small and cluttered. But let the owners bring you the dresses. They really know what they're doing. They know their merchandise and what will look good on you. I bought three that I absolutely love. I found the owners honest and very helpful.

I wouldn't even give this place a star but unfortunately one star is the lowest rating you can give them.



The staff is terribly RUDE, especially the daughters of the owner. They talked to me as if I was a child, scolding me because I did not put on the dress correctly because it would cause them more work to put it back on the hanger. and since when do you have to take off your bra to try on a dress?? if i feel more comfortable wearing one, you can't yell at me and tell me not to do it.



you can't zip your own dress or have someone go in the fitting room with you to help put on the dress. There are far better places you can go and cheaper !!! save the time and energy!
