I have sent my two boys to Little Bear for about 18 months now. It's a newer center, so the space is nice and clean. They have two play areas out front and a "secret garden" area in the back, so the kids get lots of outdoor time. My older son is in the preschool room, and he always tells me about the interesting things they do each day. They have a theme each week, so he's always learning something new. I like that he also has free play time.



My younger son is in the toddler room now and he's doing really well. I get a lot of his artistic masterpieces sent home, so I know they do a lot of arts and crafts. They also have these tumble mats that I think he'd play on for hours.



We get a report on what they did each day which is nice. As a full-time working family it's tough to find the balance, but I feel better knowing they are in such good care. The teachers they've had are great, I trust them completely. Finding a good daycare is hard, so I thought I'd put a review up so that anyone who is in the situation I was a few years ago will at least have a good lead :)

LBLC is an incredible early-childhood program!! Unfortunately we're a working household, so we had to send our little one to daycare as young as 10 weeks. Trust me, it was an incredibly difficult decision. Thankfully we found Christy and her impressive staff at LBLC. Our daughter is turning 1 this weekend and LBLC has become her 2nd family. They are not babysitters, they are teachers. They help the kids develop...and have taught us parents a thing or two as well. I cannot say enough positive things about Christy and her teams and from talking with the parents of other kids at LBLC, they all feel the same. If you're looking definitely give Christy a call!
