Poit's Lighthouse Mini Golf

Years ago Poits was a must go to restaurant for me. They had a full menu and had some of the tastiest fried clams on Cape Cod. I'm not sure what happened because their menu got smaller and smaller until the only non dessert food they offered was hot dogs.



As a kid on vacation, way before they had they had the ice cream shop, I used to play many a round of mini golf there. My family would get food from them. Good food too.



These days, the place is a shadow of its former self. Perhaps they needed to reinvent themselves in order to survive. I don't know. Maybe the elimination of their menu and the addtions of the ice cream shop and renovating the mini golf was what they needed to do in order to survive. Again, I don't know.



What I miss is the Poits I used to know. The Poits that I could go to and get great fried clams and awesome burgers and fries. That's the Poits I know. That's the Poits that doesn't exist anymore and it makes me sad.
