I was given a Grandfather Clock. The weights and Pendulem had been removed for shipping.
A&M came out to my house. gave my clock a thorough examination. They confirmed the previous owner had taken good care of the clock and that it had been oiled within the last couple of years.
The Pendulum was slightly damaged (bent) in transit. A&M gingerly straightened it out. (could not even tell it had been bent.) they oiled and reassembled the clock. the whole experience took abut 30 - 40 minutes.
I would recommend them.

Visited this place today 2014 and had the worst experience in my life..... I showed him my inheritance watches of course he said he would just melt them down and I should sell him them for 200$ it goes for 250 he said.. 200 to fix.... I was quoted 600$ on the watch broken!!! Why? So he can fix it and sell it for 1800... he then lied to me about 2 other watches, worth over 2000$. So I tested his coin skills on a set of foreign coins valued at over 2000$ guess his offer? 20$... ok maybe just maybe he will give me a good deal on gold? So I pre priced a 18k at another place and decided to see what he said... well after taking it into the back he returned with it saying it was only 14k! Then offered me 150$ less!!!! Master watch guy needs 20$ to change a battery but the guy at the jewelry store cost 6$... so he cleaned 2 pieces and asked him about some info on my watch he told me it was a mavado.. that's it.. I asked him how much It was for the cleaning and he said 85$!?!?!?!?!?! I couldn't believe it, for what I asked... he goes oh my knowledge and advice.... well the only advice I got from.that is he should be put in jail for the things I experienced and heard! I bet he doesn't even have a licence.

Very expensive store. I was only there 2 times & that was enough. Not ever going back. He agreed to fix my watch for $50. He told me on my next visit that he wouldn't be able to do the job as promised. Then he wanted $40 for NOT fixing the watch. I couldn't believe he wanted $ for not repairing the watch after spending 20 mins on it. I did get it fixed in Mt. Pocono for $20. If you chooses to go there I hope you have a better experience then I had. But U have been warned & he gets $20 for a simple watch battery replacement. ON A different note, he had a clock in there that I was admiring He went on& on how wonderful & valuable the clock was. UNTILL I told him I had 1 identical to it left 2 me by my late Father. In his next breath he told me. "Well its nothing special" as he thought I might want 2 sell it 2 him. LOL EXPENCIVE & SHADY place as far as I am concerned.
