I can't express how nice this place is and how friendly the staff are. The food is good and the look of the restaraunt is really nice. It's far from where I live, but I honestly would rather make the trek.

Not sure where the other poster went to eat dinner, but I had quite the opposite experience. The hostess was incredibly nice and attentive to our table, the waitress was excellent and provided assertive and quick service to our table. The food was very good, I got 3 rolls, while the other members of my party all got cooked food. Not one of us had a complaint. To top it all off, after receiving the bill, they gave us a discount from the paper which made the already very affordable bill even better. I'd urge people to give this place a try as it really does have a unique style and feel that should be experienced at least once by everyone.

Don't let looks deceive you. This restaurant features modern-day furnishings that is certain to raise some eyebrows. But in areas that really matter, such as food and service, they are eager to displease. Heard of poor service? You get a whole new definition of that here. The fancy artistry of their sushi arrangements that are a visual treat don't reflect the unsatisfying taste of their menu items. Domo in East Setauket is definitely one you should avoid.
