Very happy with new countertops from General Kitchens, we are strong believers in keeping it local, and our contractor suggested we visit here. The staff was helpful and friendly, helping us choose the best option for our busy home.

My wife and I purchased a home in Seekonk MA a few years ago and wanted to update/replace the original installed kitchen cabinets. We visited 2 big box stores and a few independent cabinet showrooms before visiting General Kitchens. It is in my nature, having an accounting background and CPA experience, to get as much information and prices as possible to make a good sound decision. Laureli scheduled a meeting with Jess; the lead designer/manager. Our initial meeting provided a base line for our dream kitchen within our budget. I brought a rough layout of the kitchen and some ideas to incorporate into our design. Jess listened intently with a quite understanding, I felt he knew our desires and needs. He explained General Kitchen's process of design and showed a ring binder of a prior client that would be provided to us with our personal detailed pricing of each cabinet. Throughout this whole process Jess is very understanding and provides professional 20 plus years of cabinet sales/design. However, there is a cost to us before proceeding and we both felt the cost was justifiable and understandable on their part by putting their substantial time and experience on the line. Our next meeting was at home with Jess's recommended independent installation contractor, Jim from K & J Construction. All measurements were taken by Jess and Jim and a full discussion on what was desired by us. My wife and I finally felt this project will be done right and without any of those design/contractor horror stories. Everyone was on the same page. Later we met with Jess (who made suggestions none of the other stores/designers did) to finalize the kitchen design and signed all the necessary paperwork and be presented our own personal binder on EVERYTHING. Finally, the kitchen was delivered, installation was completed (by Jim and his crew) and we are now very satisfied and can highly recommend General Kitchen to you.

I cannot say enough about our amazing new kitchen. This is the 2nd time that we've used General Kitchens. The first time was our previous home. They were so helpful, and put our minds at ease in the midst of new construction issues. We got our kitchen and bath cabinets, as well as appliances from them. So nice to have one place take care of all of that! This time we purchased a home with an outdated kitchen. Once again the end result was fantastic! The designer was so helpful giving us ideas and tips we never thought of. I have recommended them to family and friends, who have been equally pleased. Their courteous staff, and quality product are second to none!
