Woodland Middle School, established in 1955 and affiliated with the East Meadow Union Free School District, offers education to students in grades six through eight. The school s curriculum includes a variety of subjects, such as mathematics, science, language arts, foreign languages, and health and physical education. The school also has an on-site store that offers school supplies, stationery, accessories and uniforms. The extracurricular activities offered by the school include peer medication, field trips, mathematics Olympiad, yearbook, scrabble, the National Junior Honor Society, photography, and chess and drama clubs.
