Parkway Elementary School, opened in 1955, is part of the East Meadow School District. The school serves more than 500 students in kindergarten through grade five. It has an academic program that includes various subjects, such as math, science, social studies, English, and health and physical education. Additionally, the school offers educational lessons in music appreciation and computer applications. Parkway Elementary School has a parent-teacher association that raises funds for several projects, conducts monthly meetings and plans family activities.
