Jack Breslin Student Events Center, located in East Lansing, Mich., is a university major events facility intended primarily as an educational and entertainment facility for students and the community of Michigan State University. It also serves as the home and showcase for the Spartan basketball teams. The center has auxiliary gymnasiums and office space for the men s and women s basketball teams. It also offers guest services personnel that provide a wide variety of services, such as distributing phonic ears, arranging elevator escorts, and lost and found. The Jack Breslin Student Events Center was named after Jack Breslin, who served Michigan State University as a student leader, athlete, administrator and advocate.
