They sell the daily numbers but will not pay you if you win. They will claim they have no money. I will not buy my numbers anywhere where they won't pay you if you win. I buy them EVERY DAY - and two times now would not pay me when I won. That is terrible and they are RUDE.

I just read the above review and don't agree a bit. I have been goin to the place for last 3 years. The guys there are cool. Always friendly and ready to help. I did ask them about the incident you reported and they have a video of that incident from 4 different cameras. It clearly shows "the fiance" stealing multiple cigars and trying to pay for one. As soon as the cashier confronted "the fiance" he flipped. And then at least 4 people can be seen witnessing "the fiance" taking the stolen cigars out of the pocket and walking out embarrassed.

The guys were nice to him for not calling cops on him. They did save the video to show it to cops if he ever tries that again. So much for your sad song. And by the way being racist is not gonna cut it either. You can ask that from East Haven Mayor too.

Let me tell you business something. GET NEW WORKERS. On 1/29/11 my fiance tried to buy a cigar. he was told that he was "stealing" the cigar even though he had money and put the money on the counter. He was told "Get out your an east haven punk." My fiance replied "sir i am trying to pay for my cigar (cigar was on counter along with a $5 bill which was enough to cover cost and tax) Man replied: "I AM TELLING YOU GET OUT PUNK. YOUR MONEY ISN'T WORTH SH*T" My fiance proceeded to leave, but was stopped and told to empty his pockets and was patted down by the employee.To the clerk working 1/29/12 @1230pm: I DON'T KNOW WHO YOU THINK YOU ARE TOBACCO EXPRESS OF COURSE YOU HAVE MANY CUSTOMERS BUT YOU LOST OUR BUSINESS. GO BACK TO YOUR OWN COUNTRY IF YOU WANT TO TREAT PEOPLE THAT WAY..
