The East Chicago Fire Department is dedicated to safely responding, acting and mitigating any threat to the safety and well being of the citizens of the City of East Chicago, and protection of their property. The department encourages the firefighters to stay in shape by providing them with in-house facilities, with monies it received from a Federal Emergency Management Agency grant, as well as at the East Chicago High School Fitness Center. East Chicago Fire Department is located in East Chicago, Ind.
