Alexander's Sewing & Vacuum Center is a second generation family owned business. The business was started in 1962 by Alexander Synowiez. From a home business it grew to a store front located in Durham NC. Paul Synowiez, his son, now owns the business and is helped by his wife and children. Together they continue to sell and repair both sewing machines and vacuums. We offer new and used sewing machines and vacuum cleaners. We repair and service most brands of sewing machines and vacuums. All repairs come with warranties and most repairs completed within two days. We also offer an entire selection of both sewing and vacuum accessories. Special ordering also available.
