This letter is in reference to the service (OR LACK OF) that you will receive if you decide to use Southwest Appliance located in Durango, CO. I was given them as a service provider for a warranty issue I was having with a newly purchased GE Dishwasher. Because it was a warranty issue I was given no choice who to use but others who are considering appliance repair in SW Colorado be advised to go elsewhere! It has been 10 days since they were notified by GE of my issue and I have been on the phone with them at least 4 times. No one has been out to check my dishwasher and I still don't even have an appointment set! I called back GE and complained enough that another provider from further away was assigned with hopefully better results?? If you do call them, you will speak with a nice enough sounding fellow named Anthony. Don't believe a word he says about calling back or getting you "set up". It never happened and I doubt it ever would have. If you like being strung along, by all means go with Southwest Appliance, if you want your appliance fixed go elsewhere…
