3/26/18-Took vehicle to Precision Tune (PT), Duluth due to check engine light & running rough. Mechanic called, vehicle needs tune up. After tune up, mechanic said vehicle still running rough, ignition coil needs to be replaced. They did work, received call, still runs rough. Mechanic thinks it's fuel pump related. Replaced fuel pump. Received call, during fuel pump replacement, battery died. Without consent, put new battery in. Mechanic waived labor to offset cost. Battery replaced only 1.5 yr old. 4/5/18-Mechanic called, vehicle ready. 4:30PM, Mechanic called, asked if I'm on my way, truck not running right. Asked to keep it few more days to figure out what's wrong. They already had vehicle for 9 days. I gave them surprise visit. I started my vehicle, ran worse than when I took it to shop. Running extremely rough, engine light on, back-firing. I'm upset! Mechanic said it could be transmission related. I just replaced transmission 26,000 miles ago. Asked to see certs, one mechanic said he is not certified, but knows everything. Both mechs looked like teenagers fresh out of HS. I asked to speak to GM who is at diff. shop location. On phone he said employee cld drive vehicle to other shop 10mi away. After thinking over, they cld do more damage by driving truck to other shop & charge me. Had really bad vibes, decided to pay over $1100 & drove truck worse than before, 3mi to Tires Plus (TP), cld not drive over 35mph, back-firing, emergency lights on. TP corrected issue in 2days. TP corrected tune up done wrong, plugs/wires in wrong order that caused back-firing. TP replaced fuel pump. Wrong fuel pump for vehicle. Initial problem was due to fuel injector, not related to anything Precision Tune worked on. Other parts affected after PT job: radio not working, blown fuse. Contacted PT GM, ask refund for faulty, guessing-game work done on vehicle. GM very defensive, not apologetic in any way. Said there is no correct order for wires/plugs. LIE. GM refused to do anything.
