Duchesne County Sheriff employs more than 55 personnel, including road deputies and correctional officers. The sheriff s office also has a search and rescue unit, which consists of more than 35 volunteers to respond to various calls for help throughout the county. Additionally, the office has several members of the Uinta Mountain Search Dogs who assist with searches throughout the area. Its members also assist various agencies on searches throughout the intermountain area as well as out of state searches.
