Earlier known as Columbus Children's Hospital, Nationwide Children's Hospital has been providing care and treatment service to sick and injured children and adolescents for more than 110 years. It is one of the primary pediatric health care providers in Ohio. The hospital has 300-plus bed and serves over 35 counties throughout the state, as well as employs nearly 4,000 expert providers and approximately 700 other medical staff members. Nationwide Children's Hospital includes a surgery center, emergency department and various subsidiaries, including Nationwide Children s Hospital Homecare, Children s Hospital Guidance Center, Children s Orthopedic Medical Center, Children s Radiological Institute and Children s Anesthesia Associates. The hospital offers more than 120,000 on-site and over 100,000 off-site diagnostic services. It also features Close To Home Behavioral Health and Counseling Services unit.
