Dr. Hargis is a 1990 graduate of Louisiana College, with a BS in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He attended LSUSD to earn his DDS degree. He then completed a 2-year residency in hospital dentistry at Charity Hospital in New Orleans. In 1997, Dr. Hargis moved back to Central Louisiana to begin practicing. He took over a clinic in Montgomery, Louisiana, where he served this rural community for 11 years. In 1999, he opened his private practice in Prospect, where he has been the only continually operating dentist in Grant Parish.
