This company tried to take us for $700 maybe even more! We contacted our HSA to have our hot water heater looked at due to a leak. Bailey the plumber that was sent out spent maybe a total of 8 mins in our home to tell us that we needed a new tank and multiple other items, and that HSA would only cover the cost of a new tank. No more than 10 mins later HSA called and said they wouldn't cover anything due to that Bailey claimed our PSI was to high. So we contacted another master plumber that came out right away to find out that the hot water tank is not bad in anyway! The PSI is no where near what was being claimed. Thank god I went with my gut and saved us hundreds of dollars! Shame on you for trying to take from a family of 6! You should be shut down! I will be contacting the BBB and HSA right away! It shouldn't matter what warranty we have you still tried to sell us things we did not need!

This company is a joke. They were the only plumber that my home warranty uses, so I had no choice. My wax ring needed fixed, and they gave me the runaround for weeks and ultimately were not able to fix it but blamed other things for their incompetence. They do not answer their phone, and will call you back at 7 AM instead. Do not use them!

As a new home owner, there is a lot I am learning for the first time. One night I came home to a leaky hot water tank which I immediately called into my home warranty. They set me up with Hometown rooter. Firstly, showing up after the appointment window (but that's nothing new I don't know a company that makes their times) the guy who did the service call, I believe his name was Mark, was very nice guy and pleasant, he just seemed a little flustered because he said he was very busy that day, which I fault no one for. I then was asked to sign for out of pocket expenses. I inquired about this because I was under the impression I pay my deductible only, and he said that he didn't know he's just the plumber and that all he knew is that I owed the money. So I wrote a check thinking I'd take it up with the home warranty. (Which I later found out I'm screwed and won't be getting reimbursed for the money) anyways, when the plumber left, he drove into my yard and over a 2 ft garden fence I have around the perimeter of the yard smashing about a 20ft section of it. I have called 4 times since the day he was here to let them know this has happened and left messages every time. They have yet to get back to me and I'm assuming they are avoiding this situation and I do not appreciate this. I get that accidents happen, but you let me easily write you a check for "out of pocket" expenses, yet now have trouble getting back to me because your employee broke something on my property. This is not good business.
