Provided by YP.comOur experience with Serenity Funeral Home, was most professional, and calming. Mr. Peni Malohifo'ou, did a wonderful job, extremely professional, showed sincere concern to and for our Family, and concern for our needs. Mr Malohifo'ou always kept in touch with us, letting us know every step of the way, where they were with our Mom's arrival from out of state, when she was ready to be seen, and accommodated us every step of the way. We loved that about him. Times like this, we get so overwhelmed with Family coming into town, and all the preparations for the our Moms funeral, that sometimes we forget to keep in contact with our Funeral Counselor. But he understood, and was always on top of everything, even down to the details of the flowers. When it came to time of the funeral, it was comforting, to know that Mr. Malohifo'ou and their staff made sure everything went smoothly, and smoothly, it did. We are most grateful for not only Mr. Malohifo'ou, but also to Serentiy Fuenral Home in Draper, the price was the best, and affordable....but the service was superb! We have been reccomending Serenity Funeral Home to all our friends and families. Thank you so much, for giving us a feeling of confidence and calmness with our Mothers farewell service.

Provided by YPmobileI have used Serenity Funeral Homes in Utah on several occasions. The are kind, caring, knowledgable and extremely professional. Larry and his staff are wonderful and as far as I am concerned the best in the business.
If you are looking for a funeral home who will treat you with dignity and kindness... Look no further!

Provided by YP.comBring your own casket or urn!
My brother recently took his own life. I had to fly out to Salt Lake City, UT from the east coast. These guys were very nice over the phone. In fact too nice. I had to rush THEM off the for for them wanting to councel me. Perhaps I had spoken to the only person who cares that works there! I get there & oay them and all is well till we go to the lobby to pick out an urn. MAN were they expensive. I pulled out my laptop (on their wifi) & loaded amazon & got 3 urns for less than their one large URN.
After flying back home I called to check up on them & see how far along my brother was. I spoke to TWO people that day including one who pretended to take my info & didnt call back. It wasnt until TWO days after my brother had been cremated that I got a call from my sister in law that they were done with him. I consider this totally unprofessional. I can only assume they got nasty with me 1 because I'm black, or 2 because I'm black & was smart enough to price an URN online & not get charged out the rear! They seem to have no problem taking money but then treat folks in a "get what u pay for manor".
I cant help that my brother died on short notice & couldnt do one of those $10,000 funerals. But they should at least be professional enough to say "hes done & we'll send the remains to you". So if money is an issue they might be the cheapest in town but I would say if U can afford to spend more than do so & go somewhere else.

Provided by YP.comThe nightmare began when the case manager visited with my family. He missed two crucial deadlines with submitting the obituary. He had advised us both times the obituary was in and in fact it was not. This company has no integrity. The case manager didn't even know his own product line referring to the caskets. He sold us one which needed corners and his cover-up on this was to just add enhancements for this casket. In fact the casket had to have corners. They only presented one line of caskets which is not conducive to serve every ones needs. Serenicare didn't help us at all with the huge and unforgiveable mistake that they make. The solution to the mistake was to make a phone tree....how in the world would you be able to contact seventy years of friends in one night!!!!! When a problem does arise you will quickly be informed they are visiting with other families...it is a business to them the owners made that very clear!!!! Remember, before using them think of your loved ones.
