Shamona Creek Elementary School serves more than 650 students in kindergarten through grade five. It offers a variety of academic courses, such as health and physical education, music, arts, language arts, reading, mathematics, social studies and science. The school provides a variety of special programs to meet the needs of students. Its educational enrichment program provides a day of specialized learning experiences every sixth day for academically talented children. The school also offers a computer curriculum corporation software program that provides computer generated and monitored instruction and practice in mathematics, reading and language arts. The school is administered by the Downingtown Area School District and is located in Downingtown, Pa.
