Downingtown High School-West offers various technological and career preparatory programs that include animal science, automotive collision and automotive service technology, carpentry and cabinet making, computer information system, and commercial and graphic arts. In addition, the school offers courses in cosmetology, culinary arts and electronic systems technology. The school is located in Downingtown, Pa., and it has various student clubs and organizations, including student bodies, clubs and athletic teams. Its various art organizations and activities include marching band, dance team, drama and choir groups. Downingtown High School-West also offers early childhood care and education, security and police science, health occupation, and horticulture and landscape gardening programs, and is a part of the Downingtown Area School District.
