I AM A CHEESE AND SAUSAGE KIND OF GUY HOWEVER AT A PARTY I TRIED THE SUPER SIX AND NOW IM HOOKED BEST PIZZA IN AND AROUND DOWNERS GROVE.

Aurelios is a family owned homestyle pizza joint so don't expect to pay Pizza Hut prices. That said, don't expect to get Pizza Hut garbage either. This is truly the best pizza in the La Grange/Countryside area. The ingredients are fresh and delicious and appear to be cut on premises - no bags o' veggies here. The mushrooms are fresh, not those canned or jarred pieces of grey mush - a must for true pizza snobs. The sausage is particularly excellent being very tender and perfectly spiced. You will find no grek - you know - those weird globs of inedible fatty substance in sausage balls at cheaper pizza places.... The sauce is on the sweet side and in the perfect amount - enough to need a napkin but not enough to be bathing in. The cheese is a unique blend which includes, I believe, a bit of cheddar giving the pizza cheese a bit of a 'crunch'. Truly unique! It also extends over the crust in area's making the ends quite desirable. The thin crust is perfect in thickness and always crispy, even at the very center pieces. You'll find no sog at Aurelio's. Occasionally, a large amount of watery veggies will change the consistency of the cheese and give it a slightly 'off' taste and slightly funky consistency but in general, you will not find a better pizza in the S.W. Burbs. The stuffed is equally good. The top crust is not as soggy as you’ll find at other places such as Giordano’s which is basically raw dough on top of your pizza. Overall a 5 out of 5 rating.
