I've never in my life had an issue with my trash service, until my company was bought by Kimble. I've had to call Kimble at least a dozen times in the past 2 years. For a while, the were skipping my house every week and today they only half emptied my can. Previously, I had called for my one large item and they still wouldn't come get it. I would recommend trying any other trash service before going with Kimble.

Sorry, I don't want to have to call my trash service all time time because you didn't get my trash. It's the only thing I pay you to do. "You had one job!"

I live in the city of Fairlawn on the boarder of Fairlawn and Copley.

Recently Copley Township announced that they entered into a contract with Republic Services for residential trash pickup for the entire township. I can probably help explain why Kimble lost that contract.

Our trash was not picked up this week. This morning I called Kimble and spoke to a customer service representative who informed me that I live in Copley Township. I explained that no, I live within the city of Fairlawn. My services should not be cancelled based on the fact that Kimble lost the contract with Copley Township. According to the Kimble website, they DO service the City of Fairlawn. The customer service rep said that she would "send an email to another department" and then call me back.

After 6 hours with no return call I called again. I was once again told that I live in Copley Township and that the county auditor's website shows I live in Copley Township. Once again I explained that I live in the city of Fairlawn not Copley Township and that Fairlawn shares a school district with Copley Township (hence Copley-Fairlawn City Schools).

After being placed on hold the customer service rep came back and explained that yes, I DO live in Fairlawn. Wow, that took a lot of work! Unfortunately she also explained that they made a mistake when my service was started. They had been charging me the "Copley Rate". I will no longer be able to recycle and my quarterly rate will now go up.

Meanwhile, my trash is still at the curb where it has sat for nearly 48 hours due to their error.

My hands are tied. In order for the trash that is at the curb to be picked up (tomorrow) I have to agree to the increased rate. Needless to say, I have no choice.

Talk about terrible customer service. I will be taking the next quarter and researching other options for trash removal.

KIMBLE RECYCLING IS RIDICULOUSLY INCOMPETENT
Before paying for service I called them to confirm what their services consist of. Sternly asked them when garbage pick up is and was told it would be every Friday only except if major holidays fall on this day. I said I'm specifically asking because I'm a paraplegic and have a very difficult time getting trash taken out since my house is approx 150 feet from the road and have to wheel my chair up hill making it VERY difficult to move a garbage can even if it has wheels, and I don't want the garbage left out more than a day because of a neighbor lets his dogs out on the weekends and they already knocked down my garbage can and tore into the garbage several times making a mess for me having to clean it up regardless of me calling my local animal control office and then the sheriff several times whereby neither one did anything to stop the problem. The cust service rep said in a compassionate voice how she understands completely and garbage will be picked up in your area every Friday.
I also made certain to confirm that the customer is not automatically billed and service is cancelled if they do not receive the customer's payment for the 3-month service. She said no you are not automatically billed and yes your service is automatically cancelled if we don't receive your payment.
So I went ahead and paid for their service where by she confirmed my address a couple times and even brought up a google map, confirmed which side of the road I live on, and she exactly described my driveway, front yard, and house, and then said she placed a marker on my residence and input that into the driver's route plan.
So Thursday night came and I got my garbage can put out. Friday came and they NEVER picked up my trash. In fact I was out in the garage when I seen them drive right past it. So I had to wheel the trash can back down near the house! I called them the next day and was told the same LAME formatted reply with that happy-go-lucky tone that COUNTLESS businesses adopt of saying "sorry for the inconvenience but" but no sincere consideration at all and then she just asked me to confirm my address and said would input the information to their system again and add a note that they will be picking up trash from last week and this upcoming week for my residence. Well next Friday came and SAME THING THEY NEVER PICKED IT UP! Called again. Got EXACT same response from them and finally the 3rd week they started picking up my trash but then started missing some Fridays and picking it up on Saturdays.
I called AGAIN and funny how this time the customer service rep now said "well actually there are some circumstances where we will have to do pick-ups on the following or more convenient day" I said WHAT...Convenient for who? No, you, the same person I talked to the day I paid for your service, told me it will be "picked up on Fridays and only exception is if a major holiday fell on this day". She just grabbed her book of excuses and started reading them off one by one with every thing I said concerning how irresponsible, inconsiderate, incompetent, etc they are.
To top it all off, after my 3-months service expired I started looking for another waste disposal business and got a letter in the mail saying I owe Kimble for another 3-months service and they have not received my payment. I called them AGAIN and said exactly what I told concerning their billing on the 3 month plan but the customer service rep said "they actually told you that? I don't know why anyone would have said that because that is not how we do our billing...the customer has to call in themselves and cancel their service"
Bottom line...they're another business that uses bait n switch tactics of making you feel confident of their services before you pay their bill, end up giving you 1/2-arss service, and then expose their insincerity with their formatted replies and excuses since you're just numbers/money to them

I switched to Kimble on 7/31/18 to save some money. APPARENTLY YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. We were with Aarrow for years and loved them but the prices were getting a little high so we made the switch. BIG MISTAKE. Kibmle had lied to us several times causing our trash to not be picked up for almost a month! They even have to make an off day pick up because we had so mush trash piling up, we couldn't wait any longer. They told us that we would be prorated for our trash service and never was. "Melissa" on chat even argued with me and in not so many words called me a liar, while constantly changing her story as to when OUR trash was actually picked up. Furthermore, our property was damaged when they finally did pick up our trash. We were promised twice that this would be fix and it never was. last but not least I was told SIX times (this is no exaggeration) SIX times that I would receive a call back from a manager in regards to all of my concerns and never did. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! IT IS A FRAUD!

We’ve been with Kimble for 3 years. We were never impressed with them, but they’re a garbage company, so they were not our top priority. They were just ok, not much thought put in this until recently. I have been getting a voicemail every week on my scheduled pickup day saying they are running behind schedule and they may not get to our area and to just leave it out until the following day. The issue with that is we live near a park with stray cats and raccoons that get in our trash. This is becoming a weekly practice.
When Kimble drivers do pick up our trash, they dump boxes of leaves and rocks in our yard and leave the other trash in our yard that fell out of the dumpster. Again this has been happening more frequently.
I called and spoke to Kimble representative on Thursday, May 31, to explain what was going on. She said they are so short staffed that supervisors are running driving routes. She also said she would forward my concerns to someone. I’ve not received a call from anyone yet. It goes to show how they value their customers.
We are currently looking in to a new trash service.
Stay away from this company.

I recently used Kimble's chat feature to see how much it would be to place a couch and recliner out for pick up and was impressed by the quick response time. The rep I spoke to was friendly and answered my questions in a timely manner.

I would recommend Kimble to anyone who is looking for reliable trash and recycling services. They now have the option for online bill pay and live chat right on there website to help with any problems that you may have. I don't like sitting on the phone and I have used live chat when I don't have a lot of time. When I have called in the customer service people have all been really nice and helpful. Not only do they have great services but they also do a lot for the community that I live in
