East Coast Dance Complex is a family run dance studio opening up in the Dover, NH area in the Fall of 2016 offering classes in ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, lyrical, musical theater, and much more! Yes we are a brand new studio but did you know we collectively have over 35 years of experience in the dance studio industry? 17 years of that experience is in studio business management ensuring a consistent and professional approach to business matters, policies and customer service. Our family is dedicated to making sure each student feels like an important piece to the ECDC puzzle whether they take one class per week or 20, everyone will feel like part of our dance family. 2.) Talented Caring Teachers! Our teachers are versed in many styles of dance, including tap, which has been so nicely featured in this year's season of So You Think You Can Dance. Our teachers broaden their horizons by continually taking classes in Boston, New York and from master teachers at conventions and throughout the area. Both teachers hold bachelors degrees in Family Studies and Human Development. This allows them to better understand the physical and emotional development of all ages. 3) Parent Friendly Scheduling! We recognize the scheduling needs of all type of parents. Daytime combos for ages 2-4 are available for the stay at home mom or dad! There are classes for each age group at a time that makes it easier for working parents and Saturday classes for parents who find the weekdays too challenging for their families. 4) Variety and Length of Classes! We strive to offer as many subjects as possible for all age groups. Why? Some children like a slower paced class like ballet, or lyrical, while other might like more upbeat classes like jazz, musical theater or tap. By offering more classes, more options are open allowing more opportunity to advance. All classes are one hour or longer which allows for proper warm up, technique advancement, and cool down. 5) Affordability! We offer very generous multi class and family discounts encouraging those who want to train beyond one or two classes per week. It's our goal to provide as much quality training as possible without it being too much of a financial strain on families. So many individuals shy away from dance because of the expense. At East Coast Dance Complex, opportunites are reachable for everyone. 6) Convenience! Located just outside of Downtown Dover at First Parish Church, our studio space is lucky to have plenty of free parking in the adjacent parking lot, with free parking also on Church Street! Located near the Dover Public Library, McConnell Center and within walking distance to Downtown. There's so many reasons to choose East Coast Dance Complex!
