My experience at JJ was nothing short of amazing thanks to the manager Roslynn Holmes. I totally love my furniture and my first time experience furniture shopping !! I will most certainly be back to get a lot more things you guys now have a permanent proud customer !!!

We had Sean Sisson as a sales rep. He was extremely helpful in us determining exactly what we needed for our living room. He came up with solutions to the questions we posed and provided exemplary service. Since we weren't sure exactly what we wanted, he was cognizant of that and left us alone to discuss periodically coming back to find out if he could be of assistance. This was such a pleasant experience for us that hopefully you see how good of a sales rep you have with Sean.

We haven't had the best experience with JJ in the past so we were a little hesitant. But we went to a different location and were pleasantly surprised. Amy was so nice and not pushy at all. She was very knowledgeable and really seemed to care about us, not just making the sale. I will definitely go back for future needs because of her!

Me and my boyfriend came into Johhny Janosik looking for a sectional for our new apartment. Luckily we got Ms. Amy who was extremely helpful, and very friendly. She answered my 100 questions that I asked with a smile and was very kind. We ended up buying the sectional and also got the warranty that she recommended. I can't wait to sit on my new couch when it arrives. Thank you Amy for all your help! You made such a big purchase very pleasant and tolerable. You're awesome and the staff is lucky to have you ! I will definitely be back in the future !

This is our third purchase from Johnny Janosik's in the past year. We mover to Delaware 11 months ago and have always been satisfied with the quality and service. Although today's purchase was just to add an extra piece to our master bedroom. When we are ready to purchase furniture for our great room and sun room we plan to use the free design service they offer. We know what style we like but would appreciate a designers help in how to lay out the great room so it looks it's best but I have no idea what to do with the sun room without blocking the exit from the sliding glass door. I have already recommended Johnny Janosik's to other people and would do so again.

DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM JOHNNY JANOSIK. THEY ARE TERRIBLE!!!!! I RATE THEM BELOW A ZERO!!!!! I spent thousands of dollars furnishing my new house. Everyone told me to go to Johnny Janosik. They are pathetic and I will never spend my money there and discourage anyone from shopping there. I had a desk/hutch that I spent a fortune on. Well the glass shelf spontaneously exploded when I was not at home. If I had been, I would have been seriously injured or killed. The glass shelf shattered. Johnny Janosik refuses to do anything and Hekman the manufacturer will not even return my calls. I hate this place and discourage anyone from shopping there. The salesman is gone so I have no recourse other than to hire a lawyer, contact the Consumer Product Safety Commission, notify the State of Delaware about bad business practices, etc. I just want someone to hear me and do something constructive to help me. I had another problem with the sofa and wing chair wearing out in under a year. The top of the sofa is discolored (it is not in the sun), the cushions are faded, and the skirt of the sofa is also faded. There are two of us in the house so there is no way that we could have done that much damage in less than a year. Shame on you Johnny Janosik for taking my money and treating me like garbage.

My wife and I, purchased a 4 stool wrought iron dinette set from janosik , about a year or so, well the set required assemly upon delivery. Fine, three weeks later , most of the bolts became loose, I don't know how many times I had to re tighten them, I realized some of the bolts were stripped, so I had to replace them with bigger bolts. A few months later, one of the welds broke on one of the stools, called janosik said might have to pay 50.00 to have it repaired , after small debate, I didn't pay to have it repaired..after all, we paid close to 1200.00 for the set . Last week my wife was sitting on one of the chairs gave way and she almost fell on her back, I didn't noticed It , but the stool completely twisted , the welds broke off the legs thank god she didn't get hurt. I also noticed on one of the other stools, the legs are also twisted. Now this is 2 stools I can't use. I didn't bother calling janosik , because the'll just tell me, is out of warranty. Another words I'm screwed. The set is manufactured by a.company named hilldale they are next on my list to contact, and see what they will do for me. Janosik should be more careful on choosing these vendors, as far as I'm concerned. I willNEVER purchase any hing from. Them again!!!! Be very careful on purchasing anything from janosik !!!!!!

I'm shocked by the other reviews, I am a recent resident from NYC and had nothing but great customer service good prices and on time delivery of my furniture. In the Dover store Elisabeth was very knowledgeable and helpful finding me an affordable and comfortable sofa and chair, then on a later visit she got me a great price on a beautiful bedroom set. I have nothing but good things to say about this business and some of my neighbors have the same opinions they have shopped purchased and are happy with their furniture.

Absolutely the worst furniture experience I've had in 25 yrs. Went to the recliner store on 18 Feb to purchase a electric recliner for my wife who just had back surgery last week. After spending some time finding the right one, and explaining the immediate need, I was amazed that we couldn't purchase the one off the floor. Even after the salesman, whom we had to track down and repeatedly ask the folks at the counter for help, called his manager who said no because two others had already ordered that model...we again explained the urgency. There was a time in this country where you could walk into a store and buy something. I was wary about coming to this story after hearing several negative reviews and this solidified that I will not spend my money here and I will spread the news.....I have 350 people who work for me so I will convey my negative experience.

One star is being too kind. I am very very disappointed with the service and lack of customer service. I order furniture 4 months ago, still have not received it. All the contact regarding my delivery was initiated by me. J.Janosik did nothing, not one attempt to say what can we do to satisfy this customer. They never gave me one straight forward answer about the delivery date. The initial delivery was delay because one item was not shipped. This led to a 3 month delay and 4 months from my order date I did not have my furniture. I have purchased furniture from many other furniture stores in Delaware, and will never go to Johnny Janosik again. If this is "what a furniture store should be" as their motto says, then they should be out of business.

Disapointed

My Husband and I had just recently moved to town and needed a bedroom set for our teenage son. We went to the Johnny Janosik store in Dover De.. After going over the price of the full bedroom set with Two different sales associates on Two different days and then foing over it again with the original sales associate . I r3efused to pay for the delivery charge since we were spending $5000.00 on this bedroom set so they agreed to drop that charge and when they finally delivered the bedroom set three weeks late I understood why they were willing to deliver free since they kept the Larger Dresser with the mirror. and even after much talking with them and their managment I am still disapointede they would not fix the mistake. So for all of you new to town D0ouble check everything before you leave the store Make sure everything they have promissed you is in writting Or Better yet dont go there in the first place!!!!!
