This is a 3 week review on their lash extensions. Wonderful staff but not satisfied with service received at all. I decided to give J. La Salon a visit for lash extensions to support a local business (and didn't have time to travel out of state) but unfortunately it turned out to be a disaster. I'm not new to lash extensions so I'm very familiar with the technique of how they should be applied. The "lash tech" used way too much glue and glued multiple of my natural lashes together (my natural lashes along with the false ones were in clumps). Once he was done and it was time to open my eyes it was very difficult to do so because so many lashes were glued together (my top lashes to my bottom lashes). Immediately I noticed that the lashes were poking my eye lids making them extremely uncomfortable. This was due to the overuse of glue and gluing the actual lash incorrectly onto my natural lash. It appears the base of the false lashes were not glued onto my natural lash which in turn made them kind of hanging on by the center of my natural lash. This with the amount of glue made the lashes hard, stiff and thick/clumpy, it felt like I was constantly being stabbed on my upper eye lid.Each false lash should also be glued onto one natural lash, never more then one natural lash. I had what looked like clumps of eyelashes (4-5 natural lashes to one or two false lashes, think of putting on dry mascara and it clumping) Because of this incorrect application many of my natural lashes were ripped out. I rate 2 stars because of the staff not services.

Everyone is so talented here! I love the feel of this salon from the moment I open the door. I am always welcomed, and feel relaxed and pampered. I've had Kristin doing my hair for quite a few years now and she is awesome. I've seen the other stylists' work and all are great at what they do. I have been to a lot of salons but this one is special and unique in the best way possible. When I have complete strangers ask where I go for my hair I am all too happy to share!

Best salon in Dover.. Everything you need in one place.. Kelly is awesome with skin care, Leland is a perfectionist on makeup, and anyone you choose for hair is amazing and knows their stuff.. I recommend this place

I have followed Jenna for about 8 years now, two different shops and now her own! I have never been so pleased with the results of my hair!!!! That's why I have followed her!!!!! Her staff is amazing, I have had my hair done by several others when she was booked and I needed a last minute appointment!!! Kristen...great!!!Leland....great!!!!!Britney Great !!! I would and have recommended the shop many times......and would not hesitate to recommend any of the stylists....although Jenna is my magician!!!! Lol. Great atmosphere too!!!! You all rock!!!!

Want to walk away feeling like a million dollars, then this is the salon to go to. I will not go anywhere else and my two boys, 12 and 9 will not either! Stylish, up to date, with a family atmosphere mixed in, is the perfect combination! J LA salon has got it right!

this salon is amazing!!! i have had services done by three of the stylists and never had a complaint!!! i love the inviting atmosphere of the salon, and the welcoming vibes from everyone that works there! services are reasonably priced for the high quality that you are receiving.

Every staff person at the salon is amazing. I will only get my hair done at J LA salon.

Jenna and her staff are amazing! My daughters have a very sensitive scalp, so I'm careful who does her hair. Jenna's amazing skills make things so much easier, pain free, and fun for my girls. Highly recommend this place!

No other salon I would trust! Would sit in any of the stylist chairs when my go to (Jenna) isn't available.
