I do not have an account with PNC. My son who just moved across the country does. I went into the branch on Professional Parkway in Douglasville, GA to make a deposit into my sons savings acct. I had his checking acct number but not his savings acct number. I asked the teller if I could make the deposit into his savings acct if I gave her his checking acct number. She told me I could not do that. I had done this very same transaction three weeks prior at another PNC branch in Atlanta. My son didn't have his savings acct number. They were not busy with other customers not even the drive through. Three employees and they had nothing to do but tell me no they could not do that. I had to leave the bank without getting the funds to my son because no one at this branch wanted to help me make a deposit. I can understand if I wanted to take money out but I wanted to put money in. I was providing a checking account number that they would be able to get the savings acct number from. There is no customer service at this branch of PNC. I will never recommend this bank to anyone and I'm going to suggest to my son that he close his account with them. I will tell everyone I know not to bank with PNC.
