Their medical record system relies on hand-written notes. Sometimes they have been unable to tell me whether one of my dogs is up-to-date on his shots. It also makes it slow to pay for anything there. Their pricing system is somewhat deceptive. They offer spays for as little as $50, but their consent form pressures the pet-owner to purchase numerous add-ons, such as a heated table and pain medication. The $50 spay can easily be three times as much after you select all the add-ons.Not all customers are welcome at Dr. Olga's clinic. She told me that I did not fit her customer profile because I am not poor. She asserted that she likes to work with poor people because "they don't cause problems."Then there is the issue of the cockatoo that has been living at the clinic for almost a year now. The office is open only 20 hours/week or less. The bird stays in the cage like a prisoner in solitary confinement. Most cockatoos would self-mutilate if left in these conditions.
