I was born in Cuba. I practiced internal medicine in Cuba before I moved to the United States. In Cuba, since we do a preparatory school from a young age, I was able to study all sciences and realized that medicine was my passion. I took a dive into medicine to improve other peoplesâ?? health I am very familiar with geriatric patients as with internal medicine a provider tends to see an older population due to their chronic illnesses. A great day at work is when I help my patients resolve their health concerns during the same visit. At Sanitas, we have a true focus on giving our patients the best care they need, so they can focus on their own personal lives.
