The Ro ad, Bridge and Canal Maintenance Division is a part of the Miami-Dade County Public Works Department. The Road, Bridge and Canal Maintenance Division maintains more than 160 miles of secondary canals in Miami-Dade County in Florida. It controls the growth of aquatic weeds and woody vegetation. The division also offers inspection, maintenance and cleaning services for culverts. In addition, The Road, Bridge and Canal Maintenance Division removes floating debris and other obstructions. Its additional services include pothole, pavement and guardrail repair, herbicide spraying, drain cleaning, drain cover replacement, street sweeping and pump station maintenance. The division maintains and operates movable, vehicular and pedestrian bridges.
