i have worked for this man for almost 15 years and i can tell you the kind of people who complain about him being a horrible person to work with just simply are not the kind of people cut out for this job. he yells at people to follow simple safety procedures and to use common sense because it is a dangerous job and he cares for the safety of his workers. He likes the work done a particularly specific way, although that's solely because he has been on the business for over 40 years now. As long as you use common sense, work hard, and Give him an honest days work the way he wants it done ( do it his way its hourly work after all). I have complaints about him but overall he has always had work for me day in and day out if i asked him. and we had disagreements and i walked off but he was always ready to hire me back when i decided i needed work. he has been there as a boss and as a reliable source of work for 15 years. He pays you reliably and he always has work even if its something that hes not making money off of just to keep his employees fed. He has been a great man the entirety that i have known him and anyone who thinks otherwise decided to not give him 100%.

I worked for Jimmy Shelton and was very disappointed in the lack of respect the man has for his employees. The few days I worked for him I notised many of ppl that had applied with him had left his outfit any no longer work for him I listened to him yell and talk to his employees like dogs. I'm 25 years of age and will work Manuel labor and have at ever job I have had. But never in my life have u Ben so disrspected so bad in my life. I do not and will not recommend anyone to work for someone so disrespectful
