If I could give this zero stars, I would. When we called to place our order the woman we spoke with was incredibly rude. I'm not just talking about the typical busy-Chinese-Restaurant short responses, she obviously felt that we were an inconvenience to her for calling. She did not give us an estimated wait time for our delivery, and now I suppose I know why.
We had to wait OVER TWO HOURS for our food to be delivered! We called inquiring about our order after the first hour and were told "the driver just left." After another 40 minutes we called again, and again we were told "the driver just left." We called at the two-hour mark just before the driver finally made it into our driveway. The driver claimed that he only picked up our order from the restaurant 10 minutes prior, then looked at our receipt to see when our order was placed and was shocked at the two-hour wait as well.
While the driver was present we spoke with someone over the phone named "Kevin" and requested some sort of compensation for this awful service, but all he offered was "okay, I give you three dollars off." In what world would that make everything okay?
As you can expect, our food was freezing cold by the time it reached us. On top of that, it's just plain gross. The Styrofoam containers probably taste better than the food they held. There was NO sauce on half our food, and that's kind of the entire point of Almond Chicken and Sweet & Sour Chicken. Plus, the menu specifically states that the Sweet & Sour Chicken comes with green pepper and pineapple... Well, not this order! Speaking of the menu, the prices on their carry out menu do NOT match what they actually charged us. I took one bite of each item, hoping that SOMETHING we ordered would be edible... And got nothing but disappointment. We threw away the entire $30+ order of cold, stale food. I will be driving up there tomorrow to demand our money back.
Seriously, there are way better Chinese places around with better food, better prices, and better service. We ordered from this place just to try something new since one of their menus ended up on our porch a few months ago, and we have learned our lesson the hard way.
If you trust only one Google review in your life, let this one be it. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Tai Ho!

I never had an issue with this restaurant until today. I made an order over the phone and made sure to repeat my order to ensure its accuracy. I go to pick up my order and it's wrong, instead of a side of BROCCOLI I get an order of Crab Rangoon. As I realize the mistake the cashier had already processed my card, but the difference between what I wanted and what I got was a .25 cent difference but instead I was charged 1.00 for the broccoli. When I asked why the first thing I was told
was they had no change when they didn't owe me anything I was the one who owed the 25 cents. Then I was told because they had to cook it now if they would've said that first then maybe I would understand but they didn't say that first then after trying to gain Clarity as to why I was being charged the dollar rather then the quarter she tried to give me the dollar back by this time I'm upset and just told her to keep the dollar. Now that I'm home with my food I realize that my whole order was over charged.

i ordered and was delivered, 2 fried shrimps, a quart of pork fried rice, and extra fortune cookies. i wish i was told my fortune before i called. anyways, the rice was burnt and burnt tasting g, the shrimp had shell's in every bite and never received extra fortune cookies i payed for. i called and told them the proble and am disabled/unable to walk, and was told they're too busy and hung up. called again and they got mad and hung up. we did this like 10 times and only heard one sentence from them, leave us alone were busy and youre screwed (in chinese). this happened 20 minutes ago and am working on getting there. they will not like me at all. $30 i spent n you tell me to get lost. f*c* you...ill post after i settle this. in the meantime, i strongly vote against anyone ever going there to eat. go to kitty's @ 5 me and middlebelt.

MY HUSBAND AND I RECEIVED POOR SERVICE. WE WERE HUNG UP ON SEVERAL TIIMES. AND THE FRIED RICE WAS BURNED,SHRIMP BREADING WAS SOGGY. WE WERE TOLD THE MANAGER AND OWNER WEREN'T THERE. THEY DIDN'T REPLACE OUR ORDER OR GIVE US OUR MONEY BACK

Placed an order for pick up. No offence but the cook wasn't even asian. I want my chinese food made by chinese people sorry. Got it home(15 min drive away) to find it wasn't what I ordered at all. Not even close. I called back and immediately he knew I had the wrong food. I ask them could they bring it to me seeing as they got it wrong he said no and offered me a free pop. I went back up there and demanded a refund and to just be done. The man REFUSED! saying that my correct order was ready and hot. I took the food because I pretty much had no choice. the food itself was a 2 out of 5. Won't be ordering from here anymore.

Please believe this place will be shut down when I'm done

This is the worse place ever. I never knew Chinese food could taste this bad. I would never tell people about this place.

I went to this place last week and i must say this was the worst foid i have ever ate in my life i ordered chicken egg foo nasty and one pattie was super thick nothing but bean sprouts in it no chicken and a lot of egg the gravy was so blend and the egg roll no cabbage all bean sprouts the chicken fried rice dry not chicken and a bunch of rice i hate i stepped out my comfort zone to even try something new and a waste of money i could have bought shoes with that money i will never come here again i should have know it wasnt right when i seen the black man back there cooking only in detroit everybody go to CHINA ONE /SUN CHINA THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!

Excellent Food, Clean Kitchen, Well Dressed Staff.



It appears to be a family business that is taking pride in their work. 1st time, but will return. Hope they are consistent.



It has been over a year and I have eaten a dozen good meals, and no bad meals.

Amazing food every time. The biggest portions I've ever seen. It's even better the second day. It's also MSG free.
