After months of intermittent front-end rumbling while driving my Cadillac ATS, a friend recommended I take it to Marice Hi-Tech Automotive Services in Detroit. After asking me a series of questions, Marice said it was probably the rotors and, upon inspection, confirmed it was warped rotors. How did Cadillac dealerships in North Carolina and Michigan misdiagnosis this?
Finding an honest, dependable mechanic is a rarity nowadays, and dealerships are over-the-top expensive and charge you to "find" the problem. Marice Hi-Tech Automotive Services are master mechanics - - a GEM right here in the heart of the Motor City. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

My 2001 Malibu wouldn't start and I was referred to Maurice by Fred's Key who did not steer me wrong. He kept me updated with everything that was going on and even fixed the radio....I am 😊 and recommend this shop to women who are intimidated when going to get your car repaired.

Been a highly pleased customer of Shephard's for many years and have always been satisfied with the degree of courtesy, professionalism, skill and comparable prices.

Staff is very pleasant and professional- Wonderful food, tastes amazing! I love how I can come here with my family and eat upstairs where it is nice and elegant, but then I can come watch sports with the guys downtstairs. I would highly recommend Supano's.

Our daughter first brought her car in for brake service 7months ago,Maurice and his crew stayed late to complete her job. Excellent service. My husband and I returned today for a check up on her car. Maurice's Hi-Tech Automotive service is my #1 best Auto Shop in the City. Great prices, and amazing work. I had a good mechanic but, have moved and I needed to find a new one in my area. I searched on line (Google) for excellent Mechanics Shops in my area, and I was lucky "knowing a good Auto Mechanic can be hard to come by". I highly recommend Maurice to get the job done.

Maurice's shop is staffed by state certified mechanics who know their work inside and out and they work as a team . Also, my repair bill was not even half of what the dealerships had quoted me. Thank You SO MUCH Maurice!!!

"I own a 2007 Chevy Trail Blazer and in November for no apparent reason the Valve Spring broke on the top of the engine. I took the car to a repair shop and they did not have the ability to repair my car. They totally disassembled my car and then told me it would be too much work, not to mention they did not have the proper tools to do the repair in the first place... I called my sister and she said "" get your car from there now, and tow it to Maurice's shop"". I called Maurice' shop and was amazed that he w as open at 7:30 am. I explained to him what my issue was and he was professional , calm and said "" I can fix it"". I had been praying that I would find the right man to fix my engine and was so happy. Other shops I called earlier would not touch my car saying they had never done a repair like this because it was extensive work requiring removal of the the entire engine...Apparently, they were afraid of the work that would be involved. To make a long story short, Maurice Fixed my Valve Spring in one day, also he did not have to take the entire engine out of the car. I recommend Maurice'

"Maurice's is an amazing choice if you're in trouble with your car. I took in my van this afternoon and Maurice himself drove around with me to try to feel out the problem before I started service. I needed new tires, so he sent me down the street to a tire shop. He checked my brakes before that and explained to me exactly what I'd need to do with new tires, as it was my first time buying them.

From where I stand, this is a model business. Clean environment, friendly service, and a prompt turnaround made my experience here great. I drive a classic truck and sometimes a shop will tell me they can work on it, only to find out that either: 1.) They lied and nobody there knows what to do with it, or 2.) I have to wait for some special person to show up and do the work. Maurice took care of me, no problem, and I got my truck back by the end of the day.

Being new to town and, let's say, less that adept at auto mechanics, I panicked a little when my engine light came on and the need for a mechanic arose. After scouring online reviews for the best auto repair in Detroit, I ventured to Maurice's. Most mechanics and retailers in general would have tried to sell me as many products and services as possible to meet quota, not necessarily customer need. What happened, however, was quite the opposite. Maurice gave me a free diagnostic, informed me of my car's issues, and that they were in fact not urgent in nature. All he asked was that I return if this or any other issues arose again and, for this courtesy, I can honestly say I have and will continue to do so.

Came in for a weird sound, did not even know where it was coming from. They looked at it right away and was very curtious. He was very detailed and only did what was absolutely needed. He did not over charge or put in any small taxes that add up or anything. I will deff. Come back here if anything else pops up.

A safe & friendly atmosphere with professionals hard at work. As a female, I was at ease as Maurice explained the problem, the solution and the cost. It was quite obvious to me from the start that this business takes pride in their work and I am now a fan for life. I will highly recommend this place of business!

This place is very well-run, got my truck back running well again without having to wait a long time or call the shop repeatedly. Maurice and his staff will go out of their way to get you back on the road. I'll be back for sure next time my truck dies as it's a short bike ride away right down Woodward!

This is a great shop. Took my truck here when the fuel pump died and had it replaced, along with the timing belt which was about to go. After I got my truck back and running I saw my battery cable snap and the truck driving very rough. Maurice did a full tune-up, fixed the battery cable, replaced filters and plugs, and repaired the exhaust. When he found the issue was with the timing belt he didn't charge me for any of the work!

Thus far all is well with the starter switch and the dash seems to be put back properly. I was wowed by the price of repair and not told beforehand what the installation would cost. I do appreciate being taken care of the same day while I waited. Indeed, I called at the last minute.

Prompt service, fair prices, proper repair. They've always been professional and courteous when providing service. They explain what needs to be done and work within your budget. They explain what is most necessary to maintain not only your car but your personal safety.
