as a small girl living in a neighborhood not far from the George's location, my Dad used to stop in after his bowling league and bring us coneys to eat while sitting on our front porch....we would frequent George's long after moving from that area to the "burbs"; a few years ago my sister and I visited Detroit (my family has long since passed, and we both now live out of state) and one of our first stops was to George's - it will ALWAYS be the best, with memories to match the flavors....thanks for both!!!
