Do not spend your money here. Very poor service for the amount of money you pay. I went in for Senegalese Twist. They had 4 people braiding my head at one time so my braids turned out to be all different sizes. My hair begin to unravel within the first week. When I took I the braids out I realized they cut a significant amount of my hair because it was shorter than it was prior to me getting the braids which means they didn't braid my Real hair all the way down to the ends. They just cut it off to make the braids appear neat. I will never let them or any other African Hair Braiding Salon touch my hair again.

I've been coming to Girlfriends for over 5 years. If you tell them what you want they can do it. I received box braids in August 2013 and they are middle of my back braided all the way down. The braids are close together like I wanted them. I received so many complaints on these braids it was crazy. I have out their number so many times. None of my braids come out and my hair short. The best service and doesn't take all day.

Terrible service for the Money. I got my hair braided at this location 2 weeks ago. I was charged $180.00 for the Senegalese Twist. When I left the shop my hair was place in a ponytail when I was done. The very next day when I would run my fingers through my hair there were 2-3 braids coming out at a time. My hair was the size of micros all aroung the edges but in the middle the braids were so large and spacious I could fit four fingers between each braid. There were two separate woman working on my hair, the 1st lady did my braids very small and neat, but the second lady just basically just picked up big sections of my hair and put a small braid on it. My hair looks very professional around the edges and in the middle it looks as if a 3 year old child has been playing in my head. I can not wear my hair down I have to keep it pulled up because of this monstosity. I did not go back or complain due to they never own up to what they've done or they will offer to do part of it over which is not enough to make it look any better. I will not be using their services anymore. I wish I could post a picture of this mess with my review. If your hair is in a ponytail when you leave take it down and inspect the middle. The front and edges will have you fooled.
