I have been going to this restaurant for years and still love it! Their food is great. Service isn't overly friendly but never stuffy. It actually adds to the overall experience. They have outdoor seating which is nice in the warm weather (wish they could do saganaki outdoors!). A great place for families--my kids love it and they are not always easy to please. Also a great for a different experience for anyone. Sometimes you feel like an "outsider" at an ethnic restaurant but that is never the case at Periyali. Their staff is helpful and never condescending (trust me, being Asian, I have asked some dumb questions of their wait staff and they are always nice about it). Definitely a thumbs up!
