their techs are reckless and inconsiderate causing damage to property and come across as being highly unprofessional . what ever your needs are, it would be best to look elsewhere

Greedy and dishonest. Truly disappointed in who this company has become. They will never have an opportunity to have our business again.

The plumber from Thasher Service Corp hooked up my dishwasher in 45 minutes. He then went to turn the water back on in the basement and broke the valve. He said he'd be right back while he got a new one. I waited for him for over an hour. He came back with the wrong thread size for the part he broke. Had to wait longer for him getting his tool from his buddy. He then wrote an invoice for over 300.00$ Also tried to charge me for the part he broke. Oh, and mileage and labor. 96.00$ per hour for them to drive around because they didn't have the right parts or the right tools to work on residential plumbing. I called the service center and the office manager was very rude to me. She offered to take about 50.00$ off the bill! What a joke! Plus they tried to charge more than what they said on the phone for labor.

Called them for help because they were recommended by my Realtor. The receptionist was very rude and had a tone in her voice like "How dare you call me you piece of shit" Then once I told her the problem she rudely told me to call a sewer company. So I did, upon arrival they said "Why didn't you call a plumber for this?" i told them I did and Thrasher told me to call them and they were very upset about that since the problem CLEARLY needed a plumber and there was nothing a sewer company could do. When I called them back they brushed me off ans STILL never offered to come fix the back-up problem.

I was having an issue with a dry house in the winter and talked to Toni at Thrashers. She said I could get a humidifier that would attach to my furnace. Decided to have it done. It does an amazing job of keeping the house comfortable. The guy was fast, cleaned up when he left and it was a very good price for it. I would suggest everybody should have one of these in there home. Thanks Toni for the idea it was spot on.

My Furnace was Blowing cold air and would not heat. I called and had Thrasher service out, the furnaceman quickly discovered that my fan switch was sticking and the pilot was out. After inspecting my furnace, he found a small crack in the heat exchanger which he showed me on a small camera. He explained that the furnace was no longer safe to operate due to a possibility of carbon monoxide entering the house thru the airstream. He gave me a prompt estimate with no pressure after we talked about several different furnace options. He didn't charge me for my service that day, and they installed my new Furnace, A/C and Humidifier the very next day!!! They got a customer for life here. Thanks Aaron & Thrasher Service.

I had Thrasher's Service Corp. out this weekend when my heater stopped working, I called and talked to Toni (a real person, not a answering service), that was nice. The serviceman quickly followed up and told me he was on the way with 10 minutes. he arrived and had the problem diagnosed within 10 minutes, and came up stairs explaining the problem to me/ then gave price for the part up front. After I approved the replacement of the control board, he had it installed within 15 minutes and had my furnace back-online.All in all, it was five star service at a fair price with friendly people. Thanks Thrashers, see you next time on my Service agreement Clean and service on my AC in the Spring!!!!

Sunday night, Feb 21, 2010 - furnace quit working and called Thraser's. The service man was here within 30 minutes and had my heat on within another 30 minutes. I'm very pleased with their fast and professional service. I highly recommend them to everyone in central Iowa. Thank you Thraser's! Dave Stanley

I had a new furnace installed by Thrashers a year and a half ago and have been very happy with the low heating bills. My old furnace was installed by Thrashers 19 years ago and was always maintained by Thrashers and was still in good working condition. I kept receiveing ads in the mail from Service Legends and thought I would get an estimate from them. The salesmen was rude, condescending and never would tell me what kind of equipment he was selling. When he wanted to run my credit to see how much I could afford before he would "bother" to write up the estimate I threw him out. I will always trust Thrashers, they did what they said they were going to do and didn't B.S. me with phony offers like Service Legends. You would do very well to trust them too.

After calling several busineses I decided to go with Thraser's. I had asked up front when I made the appointment how much should I plan on this costing and all the receptionist would tell me is the price for the initial call out, how much the freon would cost, and labor cost but wouldn't give me an estimate on how long it might take. I asked 2 different friends who had worked on A/C's an was told a leak can be chased in a hour and a half/two hours max. When Thrasher's came I tell the guy there is a leak becuase i had to have the A/C filled twice last year. He starts hooking guages up to the A/C tells me it is a little low on freon. After an hour I asked him what his diagnosis was and he tells me that if there is a leak it must be a small one and would take another 3 or 4 hours to find. At which point i informed him i did not have $600 bucks to spend on an A/C less than 2 years old and basically $250 later i still have a leak in my A/C. I will never use Thrasher's agian
