Everyone there is really nice. I have had nothing but good experiences there. I have been a patient there for several years now, and they have always been consistent with their care.

Dr. Barto has been my dentist for 5 years. The waiting room is warm, I am always greeted with a smile from the assistant who is working. Dr. Barto is very professional and gives the best care. I have referred many friends and family to Southside Dental.

I went to this dentist office and had my bottom teeth pulled and then got a full set of dentures little did I know that they were going to be to big for my mouth that I look like flicka most unprofessional dentist I have ever been to went back several times and all he did was grind them down then told me I needed surgery on my bottom gums also told me he would reimburse my insurance company which never happened. All I need is to have them redone and a smaller set to fit my mouth but Dr. Mulhaus knows everything and I know nothing he is the worst. So little to say he didn't reimburse my insurance company and I am sitting with no teeth. Went to another dentist that I had to wait 8 months to get into to find out he didn't reimburse me at all. After all it is my mouth. See my photo would you wear these?

This is the worst dentist's office I have ever been to in my lifetime. Unprofessional staff and dr. Melhous is absolutely disgusting in his Approach with patients. I went here for 8 years with no problems. Got expert care and then when the older dentists retired and dr. Melhous took over, it was horrible. I left there one time with a numb mouth and no work done due to him not telling me he decided to stop using nitrous on patients. He proceeded to argue with me about using it and laughed in my face for needing to use it. Unprofessional and rude. Mean and should not be in this field. No star should be a rAting here. He's terrible

I was really happy with my experience at Southside Dental. Dr. Barto was really nice and the staff were so friendly. I have multiple family members that see either Dr. Barto or Dr. Melhus. Everyone seems to love them.

I went to the dentist recently and they were making fun of me for needing to get dentures at the age of 30. They kept telling me "well if you would have taken care if your teeth, you wouldn't be going thru this". Yes, that is true but I am terrified of the dentist. They sent me to Legacy Dental to have my teeth removed (another bad experience). I went back to South Side Dental to get my dentures and they proceeded to put me down again. Telling me that I'm nothing but a baby (because I was crying at this point from pain). I again had to listen to them put me down again for having to get dentures. They need to realize that if they didn't have patients they wouldn't have a business.

ZERO STAR RATING! these folks are nice but that is all. they will take your money and provide a subpar product that may or may not belong to you. they handle complaints with an attitude of "this is as good as you are going to get, so get used to it." they took my smile and my money and gave me a set of dentures that didn't even belong to me. I received a set of dentures for another person, but was told time and again that they were mine. 6 months later, they don't even respond to the BBB for resolution to the problem.
