Showed up late, in a bad mood. Smelled awful. Wanted $650 to repair a two year old furnace under warranty with Lennox. The sad part was the guy didn't tell me it was under warranty. He said to fix it would cost $650. I passed on the repair paid the $69 for him to come to my house and try to rip me off. I looked for another company that services Lennox.. The new company said it would cost me $185 and the part is under warranty. The $185 cover trip charge and labor.

WOW, Des Moines Heating & Cooling ROCKS! It was cold in my house and I didn't know who to call... I live on the south side of Des Moines. So, I had remembered that I had drove by their shop and saw how busy they were so I figured they must be doing good things. I called there 515-282-7086 number and I got Brad.(it was nice to talk to someone not a answering marching) He came right over and took care of the problem on a Sunday! I couldn't be happier. He let me know what the problem was and told me how much it would cost. He had the part on the van and I was amazed! I have never had a better experience with any service company! He was very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable instantly! I recommend Des Moines Heating & Cooling to everyone!! I am new to the area so I thought I would call a company with the name Des Moines in it and my chances of honest professional service would be good. Boy was I wrong! Showed up late, didn't even call to tell me he was running late. Showed up and smelled like smoke.Then tried to rip me off.You pay them $69 to come to your home then they tell you I need an $900 part. I gave my $69 but called another company. The new company charged me $69 for diagnosis. I was a little worried about it being another $69 scam, but the gentleman told me the part if it was the part that was needed would only cost $350 and included the $69. But guess what the part that DM Heating said needed to be replaced was fine. It needed a $129 part. You Compare DM Heating $969 Other Company $198 So you be the judge.

I called in a panic regarding a nonworking furnace at a rental property of mine. You came out as soon as you could with absolutely no complaint or attitude. Unfortunately, the part the furnace needed could not be delivered until Monday. We survived fine and you even offered heaters. First thing Monday, your employee came out to finish the job. He was so polite and courteous. He wasted no time repairing the furnace and was on his way. I will continue to use your services when needed and recommend your company to anyone else who should have heating and/or cooling issues.

To tell you the truth, I haven't found an Air Conditioning & Heating company like Des Moines Heating Cooling in ages. These guys came in minutes! They repaired my problem in no time & they charged me half the price of the company I normally used. Thank you guys! I will always use you again & again.
