This place is a joke. I've rented from them probably 5 times now and each time I get in an argument, and I hate arguing. Well this is definitely the last time. Their equipment is old and falling apart, they're staff is incredibly rude and will straight up lie to you.
One visit I wanted to rent a trenching backhoe, and that thing looked 30 years old and rolled down a few cliffs. I passed on that one, and rented from a reputable business in Bondurant. Another time I had to argue with the salesperson because he was suggesting I was an idiot because his crappy plate compacter wouldn't start, and now finally the last straw today when I picked up a tool about 2 hours before close, and the salesperson told me it would be fine to bring it in first thing in the morning for the 3 hour rate. Bring it back this morning, and what do you know, I now have to pay the day rate because I didn't get it in before close. There are much better business in Des Moines, don't bother with this one.
