Playset is great but you will get ripped off if you hire them for the recommended annual maintenanc

Paid $650 and the crew of 2 were only there for one hour and did a horrible job. They arrived at 8:45. I paid them and left to go to kids school and was back home by 10:10 and they were gone! Went to check the play set and there was stain EVERYWHERE! All over the handles, slide, the wheel and periscopes at the top. Stain all over the yard and all over the rocks that were underneath the back side of the climbing wall. It looked like a job I would expect from my ten year old and there is no way they could have done an adequate job of inspecting and tightening things up and properly staining in one hour. I spent 45 minutes cleaning stain off as best I could but the slide and some other handles and play parts still have stains on it. So I called the Denver location and was told they would call the crew and have him come back out. Then over next 2 days played phone tag, got a call from Shawna at Rainbow saying the guy would come back and make it right but then turned rude when I asked her if she thought $650 was appropriate cost for one hour of crappy work. Showed up today (2 days later) at 7 AM and simply slap on replacement wheel, new grab bar which was installed incorrectly BTW, looked around and checked a few bolts and replaced the rocks under the wall.All the time trying to tell reasons why not to do this or that. They were gone by 8:30. Completely rude and complained to us how he was losing money.For reference - Rainbow locations are franchises and there is no standard for maintenance service. Each location is different so be careful. The Denver location uses a contractor for their maintenance, so he is not an actual Rainbow employee. For comparison to level of service from location to location. My mom in GA has a slightly larger Rainbow Playset than me. She has had this service done on hers multiple times over the last 10 years. The crew is there 5-6 hours, power washes the playset, tightens all bolts, then they remove the slide, tape and cover all yellow hardware and handles, and remove wheel and periscope prior to staining. They also lay drop cloths to try to eliminate stain on the grass and surrounding area. She is charged $900 for hers and has always been super happy. So ask for maintenance customer references from your local dealer (preferably customers with sets close in size to yours for accuracy) and call them to see what they got and if they were happy because I 100% feel like we got taken for a ride. Called and filed a complaint with corporate - the rep was very nice and was going to call the Denver location and follow up. Will update when Corporate gets back to us.

Rainbow Play Systems of CO have the worst Cusomter Service

I ordered replacement pieces for a set damaged in a wind storm. They told me 15 calendar days, took 5 weeks. When called for a status on the order they would not return my calls only after the 4 call not being returned when I threaten to call the BBB did anyone call me back. They charged my card as soon as the order was placed but since they had the money they didn't care! Parts finally show up, we go to pick up the pieces only to find that they did not have all the pieces we ordered, but worst yet when we got home the parts they ordered was the wrong ones for our set. Wrong hardware, brackets, ladder was too short, and they substituted the less expensive monkey bar ladder (we had premium they sent deluxe) When I called to tell them about this the lady Linda accused me of giving them the wrong information this is not possible since I gave them the year, set name, and model, sent pictures, AND gave them the original invoice # from when the set was purchased. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE

Seventh Heaven

We just recently had a playground system installed this past Monday and my son is in 7th Heaven!! Ryan, the installer, was outstanding and built the playground like a tank. We can't get over the quality and workmanship in this product. We visited the showroom and thought we'd never get our 2 year old son out of the showroom - because it's really fun to visit the showroom and try them out. After shopping around and looking at the big box top stores, you definitely get what you pay for. As a matter of fact, I even called the owner today and complimented her on the product we received, the professionalism of the staff, and the expertise of the installer. We would definitely highly recommend Rainbow Play Systems. Thank you for a job well done.

Great Experience/Product

I'm going to keep this short, but we are extremely happy with our new swingset from Rainbow...We shopped around for a year, and decided to go with Rainbow. We did spend a little more, Mark and Shawna, the salespeople were exceptional. They both were very knowledgable about their product. Mark even came to our house, helped us decide on which set would be best for our yard. The installers came on time, were very professional and friendly and were done in about three hours. This product is great, built well and look forward to many years. Highly reccomened

Rainbow GREAT - This Dealership Bad

Rainbow Play Systems are wonderful, but do yourself a favor and do not purchase one from this dealer - Rainbow Play Systems of CO. We purchased a $7,500 set in Nov. (And they tried to over-charge us for the minor modifications we made to the book configuration, but luckily we caught it.) It was to be installed on Dec 15, and it was half installed on Dec 21 (over $3,000 worth of parts were not installed - no wood roofs, no playhouse,& no sandbox cover.) They promised not to charge us until it was complete and a few days later Wells Fargo called to let us know we had been charged in full. We called for a peaceful resolution only to be promised over and over and over again that they would finish. It is February 18 (2 months after being charged in full), and we still do not have a complete playset. We even called Rainbow in SD for help with a polite resolution. We were again promised they would finish and again they did not show. Buyer Beware!
