I applied for a job through Craig's list. The job seemed to be a good fit and I was excited when the next day a Job Store Staff member contacted me regarding the opportunity. I was asked to complete an on-line application/profile and I was scheduled for an interview with the Job Store in a few days.I live in Wheat Ridge, Colorado and the Job Store office I was scheduled to visit is located in north Boulder; a distance of 35-40 miles one-way. When I arrived at the office, I was handed a stack of paperwork to complete and shortly thereafter I had my interview. While we were talking, I discovered that the job I wanted had been filled! I can't believe my interviewer didn't mention this BEFORE I spent time with the paperwork! My complaint is that if the job had been filled, the courtesy of a simple phone call would have saved me gas, time and wear and tear on my car. What we have here is a failure to communicate! ARRG....

Job Store did a fantastic job in finding a quality candidate for us. They took the time to listen to who would really work best in our setting instead of just sending “random” candidates. I will be calling them the next time we are in need of hiring someone.

After completing the required employment paperwork and a second interview that lasted 2.5 hrs, I never received any kind of response from the Job Store. A week later, the job was reposted - at a 30% pay reduction!
