I needed 15-20 lbs. blanched hazelnuts. Was quoted an 8oz. price which seemed quite high. When I asked if there was a discount for larger amounts, I was told there was a 15% discount for amounts over $50. Even with the discount, the price would still be over $10 per pound! I called The Colorado Nut Company and was quoted a price of $5.60 per pound. Almost half the price Jerry's was charging. How can Jerry's justify that ridiculous price difference?
